130 years of our Bracey family cooking and curing ham and cooked meats in Staple Hill, Bristol

We are proud of our long history of producing cured Artisan hams and speciality roasted meats who’s cooking and curing methods have been passed down several times from father to son. We are especially proud of our ‘Great Taste Award’ and our handful of ‘Taste of the West’ awards for the produce we make at our shop.

We only stock or use ‘British Farm Assured’ pork or Best Scotch beef in our cooking so that we can create maximum flavour with a delicate bite, but also we can be certain of where our meat comes from and that the welfare standards are the best possible. It is something we really care about here. It is good to know that Britain has some of the highest welfare standards in place compared to the rest of Europe.
